Ann Wilson and Joe Walsh will appear on the debut album by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen and his group the Underthinkers, Everywhere at Once. The LP will also feature Chrissie Hynde, Derek Trucks, Roger Waters' touring guitarist Doyle Bramhall II, Los Lobos' David Hidalgo and Ivan Neville.

A Creedence Clearwater Revival reunion might not be as farfetched as once thought, at least not according to John Fogerty. Fogerty, who was appearing on CBS This Morning in order to promote his new album, Wrote a Song for Everyone, which hits record stores on May 28, said that a reunion could happen.

In a post to his official website, May says he detests the show and considers it an "insult to music and performers." "Sorry, hate to be negative but The Voice is the dullest, dumbest, most depressing show on TV," writes May.

Trevor Bolder, the one-time bassist for both David Bowie and Uriah Heep, has died of cancer at the age of 62. Bolder recorded four albums with Bowie during the 1970s: Hunky Dory, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane and Pinups. "Trevor was a wonderful musician and a major inspiration," Bowie posted to Facebook.

A VOX prototype guitar played by both John Lennon and George Harrison sold at Julien's Auctions for $408,000. The guitar was a gift from Lennon to his friend Alex Mardas in 1967, bearing a plaque on the back that reads: "To Magic Alex / Alexi thank you / for been [sic] a friend / 2-5-1967 John."
