John Lennon was homesick for his native England in the years leading up to his death in New York City, claims Joe Flannery, author of the new book, Standing In The Wings: The Beatles, Brian Epstein And Me. The author told the Daily Express: "He was very well and happy but he missed Liverpool, he missed the others and he missed London."

Duff McKagan's life story, It's So Easy and Other Lies, an autobiographical documentary based on the former Guns N' Roses rocker, is being released by Vision Films. A trailer for the new doc has made its way online. It's So Easy and Other Lies chronicles McKagan's time as the bassist in GNR, and his subsequent, very public split with the band.
Brain Injury Alliance of Utah's Annual Run, Walk and Roll 5K! »
The 19th Annual Run, Walk and Roll 5K will take place on May 18, 2013 in Liberty Park. The run begins promptly at 8am and runners will be timed, participants are asked to come 45 minutes to an hour in advance for check-in and registration. All those electing to Roll must be in a wheelchair or recumbent bike. Our 5K includes a vendor fair, prizes for top fundraisers and runners, and a raffle! For the past 18 years the Brain Injury Alliance of Utah (formerly the Brain Injury Association of Utah) has held a 5K event that supports the mission and the values of the BIAU.
KISS Plans On Opening Over 100 Restaurants In U.S. »
Members of KISS, who recently opened the third branch of their Rock & Brews chain restaurant in Los Angeles, say that they plan on opening 100 similar eateries across North America in the next five years. "We are spreading our tentacles! It's a family friendly place where you don't have to compromise your palate," guitarist Paul Stanley told the Hollywood Reporter.
