    Elton John, who is set to hit Krasnodar, Russia on July 14 for a show, has been getting some push back from Russian protestors who have called his onstage wardrobe "homosexual propaganda." A rep for the protestors, Mikhail Abramyan, speaking with RIA Novosti, says that he wants Elton to trade his typical glam duds for the traditional Cossack uniform of a "knee-length caftan."

    Tom Petty's Saturday night show at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles was shut down by fire marshals. The gig, part of a six-show residency at the 1,300 seat venue drew a sell-out crowd, which fire marshals attempted to thin out by not letting patrons return who had left to get drinks or go to the bathroom.

The vocal track was first unearthed by Eric Alper and released to coincide with the 31st anniversary of the Queen album Hot Space on which "Under Pressure" appears.

Rock From the Rising Sun was shot during the band's "Back On the Road" tour in 2011 after Steven Tyler and company ignored advice to avoid playing in Japan in the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami that devastated parts of the country.

    Mick Jagger has spoken out on his 1967 drug arrest, saying that it was a "waste of everyone's time and money." The Rolling Stones fronter was arrested along with Keith Richards at the latter's UK home and both were initially sentenced to extended prison terms. Both sentences were later overturned in appeals court.
