The Rolling Stones are adding to the list of guest stars appearing with the band during their current 50 And Counting Tour. Mick and company are now set to play with Win Butler, singer for the popular alternative band Arcade Fire, at their Sunday show in Montreal. The Stones publicized Butler's appearance on their Twitter page.

Thin Lizzy offshoot Black Star Riders have been added to this year's Download Festival, taking the place of Buckcherry on the main stage at the June 15 event. "Download is one of my favorite festivals and to be added to the main stage bill for this year with such a fantastic lineup - to say we are ecstatic is an understatement," frontman Ricky Warwick said.

Paul McCartney is set to appear in a special one-hour episode of the Colbert Report. The interview and performance special is scheduled for June 12 and will serve to promote the reissue of McCartney's classic release Wings Over America. Stephen Colbert broke the news in an official statement joking: "I think this McCartney kid's got something special."

Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones is back at work, only this time he is writing music for an opera. "It's based on the 'Ghost Sonata' by August Strindberg," he told Red Carpet News at the after party for the London launch of the Philip Glass opera, The Perfect American. "Right now I'm halfway through the first act."

Eagles Expand 2013 North American Tour »
The Eagles have announced a slew of new tour dates, expanding their current summer tour all the way through October. The North American leg of the band's "History of the Eagles" tour, in support of the recently released documentary film of the same name, begins July 6th in Louisville, Kentucky at the KFC Yum! Center and wraps July 25th in Bethel, NY at Bethel Woods Center.
