Beatles' 'Love Me Do' Demo Single Sells For $10,000 »
A 45 rpm demonstration copy of the Beatles' first single "Love Me Do" recently sold for more than $10,000 on eBay. The rare disc was just one of 250 pressed in 1962 for airplay on the radio. The disc features a goof, listing the song's principle songwriter as McArtney; the track was in fact written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney.

The British auction house Bonham is putting a lock of Mick Jagger's hair on the block. The tress was pilfered by the grandmother of a former girlfriend of Mick's. "Unbeknown to her at the time, this lock was saved by her grandmother when Mick and Chrissie were staying at her parents' farm," read the auction house's description of the item.
