The home in which Johnny Cash grew up in Dyess, Arkansas has been fully renovated and ready to welcome visitors. Dyess, a small town of 400 residents, now hosts the home, a museum and a theater. The Cash home, built in 1935, was restored to its appearance when the Cash family lived there (1935-1954). It was furnished based on recollections from family members.

The late Joe Strummer of the Clash has had his 1963 Ford Thunderbird put up for auction on eBay. The ongoing auction, courtesy of the Beverly Hills Car Club, is over on August 21. According to the BHCC, the car was originally "purchased by Strummer in 1987 for $4,200, the vehicle has remained in pristine condition, having spent several years in a climate controlled garage."

Australian authorities are offering $100,000 for info leading to the capture of the killers of former AC/DC manager Crispin Dye. Dye was robbed and beaten to death in 1993. "There are people out there who know those responsible for Mr Dye's death and we're hoping this reward may prompt them to get in touch with police," Detective Superintendent Mick Willing explained.
