George Harrison's Son Has His Own Supergroup »
Dhani Harrison, son of late Beatles legend George Harrison, is now attempting to make his mark in the music biz. The younger Harrison has co-founded a new band called Fistful of Mercy with acclaimed musicians Ben Harper and Joseph Arthur. The group performed an eight song set for winners of a KCRW radio contest this month at a Los Angeles studio, and their album, As I Call You Down, is expected soon.

Crosby, Still & Nash Plot Album Of Covers »
A collection of classic rock cover songs will make up the material on the next Crosby, Still and Nash album, the group revealed to Billboard recently. The group will tackle tunes by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, among others, on the as-yet untitled release. "It's a lot slower than it's ever taken us to do an album," said member Graham Nash to Billboard, citing months and months of touring as the culprit behind the album's delay.

Bon Jovi To Hold Free Gulf Coast Show In Alabama »
Bon Jovi will perform a free shore concert in the city of Gulf Shores, Alabama in an effort to breathe life back into the city's tourism industry. The show will take place on October 15 and is part of the Concerts for the Coast series. Tickets for the show will be distributed on a first come, first served basis through the event's official Web site starting September 11. Area residents can also pick up tickets at Erie Meyer Civic Center in Gulf Shores.
