Frank Zappa's Bandmates Launching New Project »
Project Object, a band composed of former Frank Zappa instrumentalists, is on the road performing Zappa classics from all eras. The group, which includes Ike Willis, Ray White, Ed Mann, Denny Walle and Tom Fowler, began the tour on May 8 at Teaneck, New Jersey's Mexiali, and continues through May 26 at Hard, Austria's Kammgarn venue.

Grateful Dead's 1977 Box Set Due In June »
The Grateful Dead will be releasing a box set of their 1977 tour. The set includes concert performances from their shows in St. Paul, Chicago, St. Louis and Tuscaloosa in May 1977, with a 14-disc set of songs including "Brown-Eyed Women," "Uncle John's Band," "Terrapin Station," "Estimated Prophet," "Jack-A-Roe" and "Passenger."

Bruce Springsteen Collaborates With The Dropkick Murphys »
Bruce Springsteen has teamed up with the Dropkick Murphys on a new single to raise funds for the Boston Marathon bombing victims. The song, a re-recording of the Murphys' "Rose Tattoo," will be released via iTunes this week. "Bruce actually called us up the day of the bombing and asked what he could do to help," DM guitarist James Lynch told Springsteen fan site Backstreets.

Steven Adler Admits To Drinking Relapse »
Steven Adler, the former Guns n' Roses drummer who recently canceled an upcoming tour with his new band Adler, says the reason was a drinking relapse. The stickman released a statement saying he's in rehab getting help for his problem. "I picked up a bottle and drank. This occurred a few times - and that's a few times too many," he said.
