Where: Orem, UT
Description:
Our precious son, Connor Shawn Peterson, passed away peacefully in his Mother and Father's arms on April, 25th 2010. "Connor Con's" had a rare chromosome deficiency that caused him to have a hearing loss, development delays and most recently kidney disease that eventually took his life. Connor was born January 26, 2006 in the American Fork Hospital to Shawn Lewis Peterson and Melinda (Mindy) Wright Peterson. His number one fans were his siblings Raygan Taylor, Lewis Wright and his foster sister Jennifer Lyman. Connor was happy and loved life.
There was never a person who got near Connor that didn't feel of his spirit. He taught the truthfulness of the gospel and the love of our savior without saying a word. We know he will continue his missionary work with those on the other side of the veil. He loved his family and loved any type of movement. Take Connor on a car ride, swing, stroller ride, or swimming and you will have a friend for life. One of his favorite places was in the backpack on his father's back whether it was mowing the lawn, going on a jog, or climbing mountains. Those two were inseparable.
Connor leaves behind many who love and adore him including his Mother and Father, brother and sister, grandparents: Mick Peterson, LaReta Peterson, Ron and Barbara Wright, great grandma Lois Wright, Aunts and Uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 28th at 1:00p.m at the Parkway LDS church located at 2876 West 1390 North Provo, Utah. A viewing will be held on the same day, prior to the services, from 10:30-12:30.
We are so grateful for the many people who made Connors stay on earth comfortable. Thanks to Make a Wish Foundation and Give Kids the World Village for sending us on a memorable vacation, Angles Hands for their physical and financial support, Sundberg Mortuary for their generosity, to his teacher and teacher's aids at Fair Elementary school, his nursery leaders in the Parkway 4th ward, Dr. David Johnson for his medical care, Doctors, Occupation therapist, Physical therapist and all of our family and friends who cared and helped him with love.
In Memory of Connor, we ask that you love you children a little more today then you did yesterday.
