Bill and June Bernards were married on May 16, 1941. In the midst of WWII. Bill spent much of the first few years of married life as a gunners mate in the war, and June was his loving bride who was stateside. 69 years, four children, many grandchildren and many more great-grandchildren later . . .they are still together and the are going strong!
