Alice Cooper Covers Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' At Bonnaroo

Alice Cooper, performing at the third and final night of the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival (June 10), covered Lady Gaga's signature hit "Born This Way."

The rendition ought to come as no surprise to Cooper fans as he has previously expressed his admiration for the Mother Monster:

"[She] is the female Alice Cooper", he told Blabbermouth.net. "She totally gets it. She created a character named Lady Gaga and wrote songs for Lady Gaga, just as I write songs for Alice. But when you meet her offstage, she's nothing like that person . . . and neither am I."

". . . she's not just a costume queen . . . you can be as outrageous as you want as long as you back it up with the music," he added.

The set also included "I'm Eighteen," "No More Mr. Nice Guy" and "School's Out," as well as a couple songs from last year's Welcome 2 My Nightmare album.
