New Aerosmith Album Delayed Until November

Music from Another Dimension, the forthcoming 15th studio album from Aerosmith, has been pushed back until November. It was previously scheduled for an August release.

"Too many [other notable recording artists] are releasing [new albums] those weeks [in late summer]. We don't wanna step on their release dates. So we said, 'You know what?! We've got the goods. [There] ain't no doubt about it. We'll wait another couple of months,'" Steven Tyler told Blabbermouth.net.

The album is the follow-up to 2004's Honkin' on Bobo and was produced by Jack Douglas, the man behind 1975's Toys in the Attic. It is the band's first album that consists of all new material since 2002's Just Push Play.

"It's the kind of thing where it represents who you are," Tyler said of the new effort. "Your album is like a wave, and you ride that album all the way and see what you got."
