Paul McCartney Working With Halo Creators On New Project

Paul McCartney is working with game developer Bungie, the creators of the popular video game Halo, on an unspecified project.

"I'm really excited to be working on writing music with Bungie, the studio that made 'Halo'," Sir Paul tweeted.

McCartney did not elaborate on what the project might be, but he previously said, in an interview with NME, that he is intrigued by the gaming market:

"It's a fascinating market. A new computer game sells so much better than a new CD these days. Young people will hear my music for the first time in a game."

Rolling Stone magazine added that Macca's collaboration will not likely be Halo-related as Bungie no longer develops the title.

McCartney's likeness was featured in the game The Beatles: Rock Band in 2009.
