David Bowie And Mick Jagger Dated In The 1970s?

Christopher Andersen's new biography Mick: the Wild Life and Mad Genius of Jagger claims that the legendary Rolling Stones frontman was more than just friends with fellow rock icon David Bowie. In fact, Andersen writes that the pair were sexually involved for an extended period during the 1970s.

The pair first became close in the early 1970s after Jagger had been admittedly influenced by Bowie's glam style. In his book, Andersen notes that the pair soon formed a relationship:

"Bowie and Jagger were soon spotted everywhere together without their wives: sitting ringside at the Muhammad Ali-Ken Norton bout, hanging out at the London disco Tramp, yelling and stomping their approval at a Diana Ross concert, or just cuddling up together on a hotel room couch."

"Neither superstar complained when one enterprising photographer snapped the two men in a moment of repose, Bowie tenderly cradling Mick's head in his lap. Bowie also took Mick to gay films," he added.

The book also details how the pair frequently had sex parties which hosted models like Playboy Playmate Bebe Buell and backup singer Ava Cherry.
