Ozzy Says Most Rockers Are Like 'Schizophrenics'

Ozzy Osbourne claims that most rock stars have a lot in common with schizophrenics. During a recent interview with the U.K.'s Kerrang! the Black Sabbath legend says that many rockers have different personalities on and off the stage.

"[Rock] performers are like schizophrenics," Osbourne said. "When you're onstage that's what you do, but when you are offstage you've got to be different."

According to Ozzy, however, it's essential to separate the two personalities:

"It got me in all kinds of trouble. Rock and roll is bad for that stuff," he said, "but if you think that's bad, you want to get involved in the acting world. They go nuts!"

Ozzy made headlines earlier this month when his longtime guitarist, Black Label Society frontman Zakk Wylde, named his son Sabbath.
