Roger Waters' The Wall Tour Is Highest Grossing For First Half Of 2012
Roger Waters' 2012 The Wall tour is the highest grossing of the year so far. Boxscore Billboard, which monitors ticket sales, has reported that The Wall has brought in $131.4 million in the six months from November 2011 to May 31, 2012.
The tour wraps July 21 in Quebec City and is estimated to have grossed $350 million since its 2010 debut. The Wall will have played for roughly three million people.
The second highest grossing tour is Michael Jackson: The Immortal Tour by Cirque du Soleil, ($68.4 million), while Bruce Springsteen comes in third with his Wrecking Ball tour pulling in $52.4 million.
