Peter Frampton Injured In Minor Car Crash

Peter Frampton sustained injuries from a car accident, which he claimed (via Twitter) was the fault of a woman who was texting while driving:

"Texting woman driver just ran into back of me while I was stationary in traffic 101 freeway." He added, "Can u say whiplash? People put the phones down!"

He later reported that his back and neck were "not good," and said he would visit an emergency room following a previously scheduled plane flight.

In his most recent post, Frampton made light of the situation, saying, "I'm, 'Grinning and Bearing' the tour already and it hasn't even started yet! Ouch!! Ha ha ha ha."

Frampton kicks off a six-show tour at Otsego, Minnesota's Rockwoods Jamfest on August 3; the tour wraps at Asheville, North Carolina's Biltmore on August 11.
