Bob Dylan Streaming New Album For Free
Tempest, Bob Dylan's latest album (and 35th studio LP), is now streaming freely via the iTunes store.
Produced by Dylan himself, the album includes a tribute to John Lennon ("Roll On John") and a 14-minute epic inspired by the story of the Titanic.
"Lyrically, Dylan is at the top of his game," wrote Rolling Stone of the new album. "Joking around, dropping wordplay and allegories that evade pat readings and quoting other folks' words like a freestyle rapper on fire."
Tempest was recorded in Jackson Browne's studio in L.A. with Dylan's touring band-bassist Tony Garnier, drummer George G. Receli, steel guitarist Donnie Herron, and guitarists Charlie Sexton and Stu Kimball, as well as David Hidalgo on guitar, violin and accordion. The album is due on September 11.
Meanwhile, Dylan's North American tour kicked off at Lewiston, New York's Artpark on September 6.
