In anticipation of the long-awaited release of their forthcoming album, Monster, KISS have dropped two new tracks: "Long Way Down" and "All for the Love of Rock & Roll."
The two new tracks follow the lead single, "Hell or Hallelujah," and go a ways toward justifying the band's claim that the album will be a "12 track straight-ahead rock and roll album."
"There are no symphony orchestras, boy choirs, keyboards, outside producers or songwriters on this album," said bassist Gene Simmons in a presser earlier this year. "The best thing we did was to turn inwards to ourselves."
Monster, the follow-up to 2009's Sonic Boom, is due Tuesday, October 9. The new album, like the previous one, was produced by guitarist and band founding member Paul Stanley.
