Slash shelved his October 3 date in Los Angeles in support of his newest release Apocalyptic Love due to the illness of his vocalist Myles Kennedy. The former Guns N' Roses rocker broke the news in an official statement explaining that he wants to make sure their show is up to par.
The gig was scheduled to take place at the Wiltern in L.A. and has already been rescheduled for December 2:
"We want to be 100% for this gig and we're just not at this moment. We'll be back December 2nd in fighting form. See you then!" he said in the statement.
Kennedy also offered his own statement about the cancellation saying:
"My apologies to everyone who was planning on coming out to the show tonight. I promise to make it up to you when we return in a few months."
