Rod Stewart, who is prepping the release of his memoirs, Rod Stewart: the Autobiography, says in the book that in his 20s as a member of the Faces he had already tired of sex. Rod notes that he was "bored of not feeling affectionate toward girls."
"Women literally threw themselves at the Faces 'cos we were cute and we were British. Me and Ronnie just got tired of sex after a while, and we were only in our early 20s. Come to think of it, we always got more fun out of each other, me and Ronnie, than we did with the girls we were with," he writes in the tell-all book.
Stewart adds that, although he used drugs casually, he never became a daily abuser: "I stopped more than 10 years ago and yes, it was foolish. I was lucky."
Rod Stewart: the Autobiography, published by Century, is due October 11.
