Jackson Browne has been forced to cancel a scheduled concert at Shea's Performing Arts Center in Buffalo, New York that was set to take place this evening.
Browne canceled the Monday night show under his doctor's orders due to illness. Tour organizers are looking into a possible date for rescheduling the appearance, with refunds for tickets being offered at the point of purchase.
Browne is also scheduled to play tour dates with David Lindley in Scranton, Pennsylvania; West Long Branch and Atlantic City, New Jersey; Albany, New York; Hershey and Upper Darby, Pennsylvania; New York City; Detroit; Cleveland; Indianapolis and Chicago, before wrapping up in Milwaukee on September 24.
The tour is in promotion of Browne's latest album, Love Is Strange, a 2-CD live set that features both himself and Lindley.
