Lynyrd Skynyrd Reroutes Cruise Due To Hurricane Sandy

Lynyrd Skynyrd has announced that their Simple Man cruise has been rerouted due to Hurricane Sandy. The cruise, which set off on October 27 from Miami will now head to Cozumel, Mexico instead of Key West, Florida and Great Stirrup Cay.
The band broke the news in a post to their official Facebook page: "We have certainly learned one thing over the past six years with this family. It's always about the Journey."
Fellow performers the Outlaws also hit Facebook saying that their performance on October 28 was a memorable one:
"The Band got the Simple Man Cruise off to a great start last night with a blistering 60-minute set on the main deck in gale force winds. This ship rocks!!!!"
