John Mellencamp appeared in Dubuque, Iowa for an Obama rally this past weekend. More than 5,000 people were estimated to have attended.
Mellencamp is just one of many artists who pitched in to help with Obama's re-election campaign on the final weekend of rallies. While Mellencamp was in Iowa, Katy Perry was in Milwuakee, Wisconsin, and Dave Matthews, along with former President Bill Clinton, were in Virginia.
President Obama made appearances at all of the events in hope of rallying supporters to turn out for Tuesday's election. On Monday, he is set to appear with Bruce Springsteen in Madison, Wisconsin.
The biggest of the events was Perry's in Milwaukee where the singer appeared on stage wearing a skin-tight minidress with Obama's campaign slogan "Forward" emblazoned across it.
