Bob Dylan posted an update to his Facebook for the first time on November 6, using the occasion to make a prediction on the outcome of the then-ongoing presidential election.
The "Duquesne Whistle" singer said that the media had made the election seem closer than it was, before predicting an easy win for the incumbent:
"Here's pretty close to what I said last night (at a concert) in Madison (Wisconsin). I said from the stage that we had to play better than good tonight, that the president was here today and he's a hard act to follow. Also, that we're not fooled by the media and we think it's going to be a landslide. That's pretty much all of it."
It was an accurate prediction from the legendary singer, who, despite having a Facebook account since 2007, has notched only one post.
