In the spirit of the Beatles Magical Mystery Tour Bus, the Beatles Vinyl Bus, a double-decker mobile record store, parked outside of Abbey Road Studios in North West London on Wednesday (November 21).
The promotional vehicle has been pushing the Fab Four's remastered 14 stereo LPs-the 12 U.K. originals, along with the B-sides and rarities collection, Past Masters volumes One and Two. All 14 were released in a limited edition box set earlier this month.
The bus had a stereo system pumping out those jams so that fans could hear the newly remastered LPs. In addition, mastering engineer Sean Magee introduced the albums, and a panel of guests discussed the impact and legacy of them.
The new set was pressed on 180-gram vinyl, boxed in a limited-edition case and packaged with a 252-page hardbound book written by producer Kevin Howlett. It dropped on November 13.
