A collection featuring 12 previously unreleased Jimi Hendrix tracks, People, Hell and Angels, is set for release on March 5, according to Rolling Stone.
The tracks, featuring Hendrix on horns, keyboards, percussion and a second guitar, were initially intended to comprise the double-album follow up to Electric Ladyland, First Rays of the New Rising Sun.
The last collection of posthumous Hendrix recordings to be released was Valleys of Neptune, which hit in 2010.
Earlier this month, it was announced that Hendrix's set from the original Woodstock festival is set to come to the big screen on November 29 and December 4 at more than 30 cinemas across the U.K. and in movie theatres globally. The film gets its release in celebration of what would have been the guitarist's 70th birthday.
