The Who's Pete Townshend has opened up about his ongoing battle with the hearing ailment Tinnitus. During an interview with David Letterman, the rocker says he has undergone some alternative remedies in recent years:
"Right now I don't have it badly. I have done quite a lot of new age medicine stuff to help me. And a homeopathic teacher, or a homeopathic doctor, helped me a lot with this, so I would recommend that."
The interview comes at a busy time for Townshend, who also has been on the road with the Who on their Quadrophenia and More tour. They hit Brooklyn's recently opened Barclay's center on November 14.
Classic tracks performed during the show included "Who Are You," "Behind Blue Eyes," "Pinball Wizard," "Baba O'Riley" and "Won't Get Fooled Again." The icons also offered an additional performance as part of the ongoing relief effort for those hit by Hurricane Sandy.
