Jimi Hendrix's People, Hell & Angels Release Date And Tracklist Announced

People, Hell & Angels, the upcoming disc of previously unreleased Jimi Hendrix material, is set for release on March 5. In addition to announcing the date, Hendrix's estate has also unveiled the track list.

The tracks, recorded in New York from 1968-1969 include bassist Billy Cox and drummer Buddy Miles, along with appearances from second guitarist Larry Lee, Experience drummer Mitch Mitchell and even Stephen Stills on one track.

Songs on the album are "Earth Blues," "Somewhere," "Hear My Train A Comin'," "Bleeding Heart," "Baby Let Me Move You," "Izabella," "Easy Blues," "Crash Landing," "Inside Out," "Hey Gypsy Boy," "Mojo Man" and "Villanova Junction Blues."

The tracks, featuring Hendrix experimenting on horns, keyboards and percussion, were initially intended to comprise the double-album follow up to Electric Ladyland, First Rays of the New Rising Sun.
