Crosby, Still & Nash Plot Album Of Covers

A collection of classic rock cover songs will make up the material on the next Crosby, Still and Nash album, the group revealed to Billboard recently.

The group will tackle tunes by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, among others, on the as-yet untitled release.

"It's a lot slower than it's ever taken us to do an album," said member Graham Nash to Billboard, citing months and months of touring as the culprit behind the album's delay.

CS&N are working alongside acclaimed record producer Rick Rubin on the release, an experience that Nash says is "very interesting."

"It's hard to tell CS&N what to do in the studio after almost 40, 50 years, but it's an interesting experience. We're certainly opening to listening to him. He has good ideas, of course," added Nash.

The Stones' "Ruby Tuesday," the Beatles' "Norwegian Wood," the Allman Brothers Band's "Midnight Rider," and Bob Dylan's "Girl From the North Country" are a few of the songs the group is tackling for the record, along with numbers by Jackson Browne, the Grateful Dead and others.
