Neil Young and his longtime backing band, Crazy Horse, have confirmed "A Special Evening with Neil Young and Crazy Horse," a Hurricane Sandy benefit to be held at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa on December 6.
According to Young, he turned down the "12-12-12" benefit at New York City's Madison Square Garden because it is stacked with enough stars already.
That event includes performances from Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder, Jon Bon Jovi, Kanye West, Billy Joel, Paul McCartney, Roger Waters, Alicia Keys, the Who and Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
Tickets for "A Special Evening," which go on sale Friday on the casino's website, will cost $75 to $150. Proceeds go to the American Red Cross's relief fund for victims of the storm.
