Stevie Wonder is prepping for his 17th Annual House Full of Toys concert, an event at which Stevie performs, while audience members are asked to bring a gift to donate to a family in need.
Speaking with CBS, Wonder says that the idea for the concert came to him as a young boy:
"House Full of Toys really came from when I was ten years old. You know, then we didn't have anything, and I said 'If someday I became famous I would do this show and call it House Full of Toys. It would be a house full of toys for all the kids all over the world who didn't have any toys for Christmas.'"
The 17th annual House Full of Toys concert takes place at Los Angeles' Nokia Theater on December 15. Bruno Mars is among those artists joining Wonder on the bill.
