Queen Extravaganza 2013 North American Tour And Quebec Residency Announced

Queen Extravaganza have announced dates for 2013, a touring portion set to launch in January and continuing through the end of the band's Quebec City residency.

During their 90-minute sets, fans can expect to hear 22 Queen classics.

"The Queen Extravaganza is not a traditional tribute show," drummer Roger Taylor says.

"It is a brand new show specially designed to enable these new fans, together with fans of old, to celebrate . . . music of Queen in a heart-stopping event. It's very spectacular, it's very visual, there are going to be some shocks and some tremendous surprises."

Queen Extravaganza will open the year in Tarrytown, N.Y. at the Music Hall Theatre (January 11), and wrap in Halifax, Nova Scotia at the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium on February 3. The band will also hold a residency in Quebec City at the Le Capitole de Quebec, running from August 6 through September 1.
