The tours of both Roger Waters and Bruce Springsteen came in very high on Billboard's list of Top 25 Tours of 2012.
With a gross of just under $200 million, Springsteen and the E Street Band came in at number two. He performed 72 shows to 2,165,925 fans on his Wrecking Ball Tour, with 54 sellouts. The Boss had nine other shows on the tour, but were performed after Billboard's cut-off date of November 13, 2012.
Roger Waters, who was touring behind a new production of Pink Floyd's The Wall, came in at third place bringing in $186 million while playing to 1,680,042 people on 72 nights, 51 of which were sellouts.
Both Waters and Springsteen were beat out for the top spot by Madonna, whose "MDNA Live" tour raked in $228,406,085 over the course of 72 dates, all of which were sell outs.
