With Deep Purple looking to their future as they are currently working on a new album, that doesn't stop them from looking to the past by reissuing one of their classic albums, Live in Paris 1975, set to hit stores on January 29, 2013.
Live in Paris 1975, which will be issued on two CDs as well as digitally, is remastered from the original tapes. It captures Deep Purple's show at the Palais des Sports on April 17, 1975, as well as tracks from 1976's Made in Europe and 1996's MK III: The Final Concerts, a set list that includes classic tracks like "Smoke on the Water" and "Highway Star."
Perhaps the most important note about Live in Paris 1975 is that this particular show is the last one featuring Ritchie Blackmore, who had already formed another hard rock band, Rainbow.
