Bono and Peter Gabriel have been confirmed among the 70 or so speakers slated to share ideas at the upcoming TED Conference, which, this year, has been dubbed, "The Young. The Wise. The Undiscovered."
Bono has long been an advocate for social causes like hunger, poverty and disease elimination. His non-profit ONE raises awareness for such causes via media, policy and calls to action. Bono will be speaking during Session 1: Progress Enigma on February 26th.
Gabriel, an outspoken activist, is the co-founder of the organization WITNESS, which distributes digital cameras to allow citizens to document human-rights abuses. He is scheduled to give his talk during Session 10: Secret Voices on February 28th.
The annual TED Conference takes place in Long Beach, California at The Terrace Theater from February 25 through March 1, 2013.
