Neil Young And Crazy Horse Cover 'Born In The U.S.A.' At MusiCares Event

Neil Young and his longtime backing band Crazy Horse were at the 2013 MusiCares Benefit where they took the stage to honor the evening's tributee, Bruce Springsteen, with a cover of his classic track, "Born to Run."

Additional performers on the night included Alabama Shakes, Jackson Browne, Ben Harper, Jim James, Elton John, Juanes, John Legend, Natalie Maines, Tom Morello, Mumford & Sons, Patti Smith, Mavis Staples, Sting and Eddie Vedder.

"Bruce Springsteen is a truly gifted and Renaissance artist of our time, a national treasure and an exemplary humanitarian," Recording Academy president and CEO Neil Portnow said in announcing the award, which also recognizes artistic achievement.

Last year, Neil Young and Crazy Horse covered "I Saw Her Standing There" to honor Paul McCartney.
