Ronnie Wood To Convince Rolling Stones To Play Glastonbury?

Ronnie Wood, guitarist for the Rolling Stones, says he plans on doing everything in his power to get the boys together for a headlining slot at the Glastonbury festival this summer.

Speaking with the Independent, Wood said that he would love to play the fest, and it's just a matter of getting everybody on board:

"We've got a meeting next month and that's going to be my first question to them. It's something I've always been interested in. I'm going to twist their arms. I've got lots of high hopes this year, now that we're all rehearsed - let's get it cracking this summer!"

The Rolling Stones marked their 50th anniversary last year and celebrated with live dates in London, New Jersey and New York.
