Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers have been confirmed for the second annual Firefly Music Festival, which goes down at Delaware's Woodlands of Dover International Speedway from June 21 through the 23.
Other highlights from the summer festival include Vampire Weekend, Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Lumineers, Grizzly Bear, Foster the People, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and MGMT. The festival, which features largely rock and indie acts, will also include hip-hop offerings from Public Enemy, Kendrick Lamar, Azealia Banks and Action Bronson.
The list doesn't end there, but also includes Big Gigantic, the Avett Brothers, Calvin Harris, Passion Pit, Ellie Goulding, Dispatch, Alabama Shakes, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Matt & Kim, Dr. Dog, Joy Formidable, Japandroids, the Walkmen and Dan Deacon.
Tickets are now on sale. It is the second recently announced summer fest date for Petty and the boys, who'll be appearing at Bonnaroo 2013, as well.
