Journey guitarist Neal Schon won a major court decision against his ex-wife, Amber Kozan. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Kozan wanted Schon to increase his monthly child support by $3,000/month to $5,758.90/month. A Minnesota family court judge ruled, however, that Kozan's requested increase was "intended primarily to upgrade her own standard of living" and therefore unnecessary.
According to the documents, Amber's annual expenses include $7,200 for clothing, $5,760 for a storage locker and $9,600 for birthday parties.
Amber claimed that the money is needed to care for the former couple's two young children, Aja and Sophia. Neal told TMZ: "My concern is with my children and I'm infuriated they are being exploited and used to extort money from me."
The 58-year-old musician and Kozan, 33, were married for seven years and had two daughters together before calling it quits in 2008.
