Cream Announce Record Store Day Release

Cream will release a limited edition triple vinyl album to celebrate this year's Record Store Day. The live set, dubbed Live at the Royal Albert Hall, will be due out on April 20 and feature recordings of the rock legends culled from several sets in May 2005.

The shows marked a reunion for Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce. They were the first full performances for the band except for the one-off performance to celebrate their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in 1993.

According to, the set was mastered by noted engineer Stan Ricker, and will feature special commentary by all three members of the trio. A limited run of 1,500 copies will be pressed and available only through participating Record Store Day retailers.
