Alice Cooper is planning on turning his attention to the classic rock covers album he has mentioned in the past after his tour with Marilyn Manson commences.
"I just kind of said, 'We've never done a covers album, let's think about that,'" Cooper tells Rolling Stone. "So [producer Bob] Ezrin and I are kind of bouncing it around right now."
The untitled album would likely feature songs such as the Doors "Break On Through," the Beatles "Revolution," the Who's "My Generation" and Jimi Hendrix's "Foxy Lady." Cooper has also mentioned a Harry Nilsson track as a possibility.
"Harry Nilsson, there's a lot of good stuff there that could be rocked out," Cooper added. "I think of songs as being clay. Take a song like 'Jump Into the Fire' and take that to a harder level, and that'll work."
