Neil Young Shoots New Concert Doc In Australia?

Neil Young filmed his recent show in Melbourne, Australia's Plenary Hall for what may be a new concert documentary. The show took place on March 14 before 5,000 fans, marking Young's smallest show ever Down Under.

"Thanks for coming down here. The fact you found the place is unbelievable," he joked on stage of the comparatively remote venue.

The show was filmed by Neil's own Shakey Pictures and would be his first new rock doc since The Rust Never Sleeps. According blog Noisey11, it could be a DVD add-on to his ongoing "Alchemy" tour - which was by all accounts received with high praise.
