Paul McCartney worked with producer Mark Ronson (Amy Winehouse, Duran Duran) on recording three new tracks for the follow-up to his latest album, Kisses on the Bottom.
Speaking with Rolling Stone magazine, Ronson said that working with Macca can be an intimidating procedure.
"He understands that you're so nervous to be working with Paul McCartney, 'cause everyone is. He gives you a lot of leeway, but then at the end of the day, you need to deliver the goods," Ronson said.
He didn't add many details on what the new album would sound like, bud did hint that they're "brilliant songs."
"He's done every kind of music. He invented the rule book in several different ways," Ronson said. "I don't know if [our stuff] is revolutionary, but they're brilliant songs. I just tried to give him a sound he was looking for."
