Lou Reed has canceled all five tour dates in the United States scheduled for this spring. The dates were set to include appearances at Coachella on April 12 and 19. According to a promoter speaking with The Scenestar, the dates were canceled owing to "unavoidable complications."
The three other dates canceled are all in California - April 14 in San Francisco, April 16 in Monterey and April 17 in Los Angeles.
Details on refunds have not yet been given, according to Rolling Stone magazine, and there has been no word on whether or not the dates will be rescheduled.
There has also been no word on whether Reed's spot at Coachella will be filled by another act.
