Rolling Stones Confirm Glastonbury Appearance

The Rolling Stones have confirmed that they will headline this year's Glastonbury Festival on June 29.

"Can't wait to play Glastonbury. I have my wellies and my yurt!" frontman Mick Jagger tweeted.

"I've been using all my persuasive charm on the boys for a few weeks now, really pleased to be doing it, can't wait to be getting out on that stage," guitarist Ronnie Wood added to the BBC, claiming he talked the rest of the band into playing.

Keith Richards also spoke with the BBC about the fest: "We all had such a ball last year, and the energy between the band is so good, we can't wait to play Glastonbury, see you on a summer's day in England."

Mumford and Sons and the Arctic Monkeys have also been announced as headlining acts. Kenny Rogers, Primal Scream, Public Enemy, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and Vampire Weekend will also perform.
