Ticket sales for the Rolling Stones' summer dates went off with a bang, as the band sold out London's Hyde Park in three minutes this week. Tickets for the July 6 show moved so quickly that, according to NME, some fans are speculating there may be another big show in London to follow.
Over 65,000 tickets sold shortly after 9 am on Wednesday and promoter Rob Hallett of AEG Live says early birds will most definitely get the worm on the day of the show:
"The band wanted the regular ticket-holders to be right at the front of the stage staring at the whites of their eyes, not 200 yards away," he said.
"The people who have coughed up for hospitality packages will get looked after in a way they have never known before. But when the doors open, if you can run faster than the next guy, it will be like any other general admission gig. You will get down front."
