Van Halen Perform First 2013 Show In Sydney

Van Halen have kicked off their 2013 concert schedule, playing their first show ever in Sydney, Australia, at the Stone Music festival, which was held at the city's ANZ Stadium.

Fan site Van Halen News Desk reports that the boys played a 20-song set that included lots of classic hits like "Runnin' with the Devil," "Everybody Wants Some," "Dance the Night Away," "Ice Cream Man," "Panama," "You Really Got Me," "Hot for Teacher" and "Ain't Talkin' Bout Love."

Following the site, bass player Wolfgang Van Halen thanked fans via Twitter:

"What an amazing gig, Sydney!! Thank you so much for fighting through the rain to see us. Can't wait till next time!"

VH has four shows scheduled for June in Japan, as well as Wisconsin's Rock USA Festival July 20.
