Motley Crue Guitarist Gets Tackled Onstage

Mick Mars, Motley Crue guitarist, says he is "alright" after getting knocked over by a rambunctious fan at a show in Canada over the weekend.

The fan rushed the stage during a performance of "Primal Scream" at Spectra Place in Estevan, Saskatchewan, in an attempt to get to frontman Vince Neil. Mars was run over in the process, and eventually the fan was subdued by security.

"Thank all of you for your concerns about me being knocked down last night," Mars tweeted. "I'm alright; nothing broken. My bodyguard Rhyno got two busted ribs."

Mars, who suffers from a medical condition called ankylosing spondylitis, was celebrating his 62nd birthday at the show. He was diagnosed with the condition, which slowly fuses his bones together, at the age of 19.
