John Fogerty has previewed a clip of himself in the studio with the Foo Fighters, the latter of whom joined him for "Fortunate Son," the 1969 cut redone for his latest album, Wrote a Song for Everyone.
"It was palpable, the air," the Creedence Clearwater Revival fronter told Henne Music of the collab. "You could tell a band was in there. It was a unique group of people."
In the video clip, Fogerty and Foos frontman Dave Grohl are seen laughing in the studio and even wearing matching blue flannel shirts and black pants. The clip also sees the two teaming up for the famous chorus line "it ain't me."
Wrote a Song for Everyone, features an all-star cast playing classic CCR songs, including Bob Seger, Kid Rock, Zac Brown Band, My Morning Jacket and more; it's due May 28.
